The software works fine on the PK88, but obviously the pactor options are not available (as with all the other multimode options). I think Kenneth understands that. The main point to remember is that since Gold is a host mode package, it can only use the tnc commands that it has been programmed to recognise. So the non-pactor version can't do pactor even if your tnc can (unless you set the parameters in direct terminal mode - not very user-friendly), but the pactor version will work fine on the non-pactor tnc. Does that make sense? I've confused myself :) Geoff gmchugh@bfsec.bt.co.uk GI7IIU@GB7WRI.#61.GBR.EU --- ... Any resemblance between the above views and those of my employer, my terminal, or the view out my window are purely coincidental. Any resemblance between the above and my own views is non-deterministic. The question of the existence of views in the absence of anyone to hold them is left as an exercise for the reader. The question of the existence of the reader is left as an exercise for the second god coefficient.
